Yosemite Falls in Fog, Yosemite National Park

Yosemite Falls and reflection - Pat Ulrich Nature Photography

Yosemite Falls is a beautiful waterfall, and when all of the individual falls are considered together, it's considered the 5th tallest waterfall in the world. In these images, the Upper and Lower Falls are visible, as seen from across the valley floor. With the high water flows this spring, there are some nice seasonal pools forming on the valley floor, which can make for great reflections as well. These images are both HDR blends of 3 exposures.

  1. Wow, this photography is awesome, well done! I love to look through beautiful examples of the earth like this, and I like your photography alot. These are great examples of what the Earth has provided for humans, and lemme tell ya we don't treat it like we should. Im gonna bookmark this Pat :-)

  2. Stunning photos Pat. Having been fortunate to visit Yosemite myself I can tell you that you are really capturing the spirit of the place to its full.

  3. It only keep's getting better..those image are wonderfull. Good use of hdr...not over done ;)

  4. Pat,
Isn't Yosemite wonderful when it's snowy! I especially like early spring when the Merced is at its fullest. My wife and I refer to the valley as waterworld when its in that state.
