Aren't the common sometimes the most fun? I love the backlighting. This type of light where the backlighting doesn't cause a silhouette is my favorite form of lighting. I'm jealous :-p Nice job.
Common birds are definitely fun -- although I must admit that I often guilty of overlooking them while I'm out looking for something more "interesting." But they often give some of the best photo opportunities!
